Hi all,
my last decent hunt was 5/8, in the intervening month I only managed 1 merc and 1 IH. But 6/6 and 6/7 we went down to visit my in-laws in Indianapolis. Their house was built in the teens, and last year with my f-70 I pulled 14 Wheat. I decided to give it a hunt with the E-trac.
The most amazing find was this 1855-W (Lille mint) 5 Centime Piece featuring Napoleon the III. It also has an ancient lamp maker's mark. I found it early on Monday, originally having plans of hitting an old school, I decided just to detect their yard instead. When I found it, originally my heart pounded because it was green and slightly bigger than a quarter. I thought half-cent until I saw liberty had a goatee.

Here is a photo from the internet of one in better shape:

I also, between 1 hour hunt Sunday evening and hunting Monday, pulled 3 silver dimes (a 1919 merc, 60-d and 61-d Rosies), 13 more wheat pennies, a small metal toy airplane (b-25).

(60-D from 6/6; 61-D and 1919 from 6/7)

Happy to get some silver; now up to 39 on the year
