First half dime!

I went back to the Large Cent site for a couple hours this afternoon with the two oldest kids. It was a pretty slow hunt overall with a lot of trash although I did like the cast iron stove foot. The very last signal of the day was the half dime. I thought it was a toy aluminum coin at first. My daughter was really excited to find a couple of square nails. I wish they were as exciting to find for me since I seem to find so many 😁

Thanks. All I did was wash it off with some water and a soft brush and it shines like new.

Congratulations on the half dime they are hard to come by! A few years back I hit a field that produced 6 half dimes in 1 hunt 2 1854 and 4 1856
