Metal Detecting
So, I've been slacking something fierce this year with detecting. I'm embarrassed to say this was only my second time out all year. However, I was able to get to a few places I've been eyeing for some time. Unfortunately, my first official "permission" wasn't home so I'll have to wait to hit that one. Sunday was all about hitting some local parks and playgrounds that I haven't been able to get to yet. It was all clad, but tons of targets. Not too much trash, the odd bobby pin or nail, but lots of coins.
Also, a first for me. A 2015 1 peso coin from Mexico. I live directly across the strait from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada... I've never even found a Canadian coin in the ground, and somehow a 2 year old peso from Mexico finds its way to a swing set at an elementary school.

Totals:
8 quarters
8 dimes
5 nickels
18 pennies
Junker kids ring
Kids pendant "Lil sister"
Junk heart pendant
Sparkly tiara charm
