First hunt of 2008!

[Dr. Ace]

I FINALLY got out for my first (brief) hunt of 2008. The ground has been frozen, and covered with up to a foot and a half of snow, since Thanksgiving weekend. It got up to 36 degrees today, so I found a spot in the sun at our just-abandoned grade school. I only had 15 minutes, but I got out the ACE 250 and we went DETECTING! My one and only coin was a 1959 memorial penny. I just missed a wheatie by one year! I will go back in the next couple of days, since there is surely more to be found. But at least I got out!!! Yeah!!!

Spring Fever has hit me hard!

Congrats on getting out! Even a memorial counts.
