First hunt with Beach Hunter ID

Hello,

Went to my grandparent's cabin and had my first chance to use my beachunter ID. I only found 12 cents in clad, but i did clear the swim area of trash, plus i had a lot of fun. Happy Memorial Day!

Looks like you had a good time. That also looks like a good place to try out your water detector. If there is a community swimming beach around that is where I would concentrate metal detecting.

I hope your Grandparents cabin is some where south of Michigan. If not that water had to be cold. I grew up in Michigan and we had a cottage on Lake Huron (near Lexington). That water was always coooold!

Congratulations on your 1st hunt. Get out to some of those busier beaches now.

Great looking lake. Does it have a name? A public beach area? Wish I lived on a lake. One of my many dreams. Does your grand parents live there year round? (Lucky them if the answer is yes) or is it a summer cabin?

Its a small lake near houghten lake, Michigan. It was actually warm when you got used to it. I'm gonna try a public beach as soon as my new pinpionter comes in.
