Decided to jump on the wagon and buy myself an AT Max and did a test hunt today at a place I've pounded out before..

Aside from some clad and trash, the only thing of note was another South Carolina button--and a first. I never thought I'd go back-to-back on SC buttons.

HORSTMANN & ALLIEN / NY, produced 1860. This has the typo of the Latin word "opibusque," instead on the button it was spelled "opirusque." I definitely went home a happy guy.

Thanks for looking and happy hunting !!:icon_thumleft:

Nice job bud! Another nice button to add to your growing collection. Pretty cool that it has a spelling error too. Congrats

Nice!
just got my AT Max today.

Dang Fine Button.

Has the SC Lowcountry ever even been detected before ?

It just seems like a-lot of Very Nice finds keep coming from the 'L-Country'.

That button is a looker.
Congrats

Very nice! Killer find

Great button. I used to detect around Hardeeville & Yamassee, SC and have found a lot of stuff there. That's where the token came from I use as my avatar. Keep digging that stuff out of the ground. :occasion14:

Congrats! Love digging those SC buttons! And love seeing treasure dug in the great state of SC! Congrats again and good luck out there.

Awesome relic find! :notworthy:

Beautiful SC button-congratulations
