First hunt with the Grand son///

Yesterday I got to take my 8 yr old G-son on a real MD hunt//
This spring I bought him a used F-2 (tried for an ACE 250) and we have been practicing in the back yard all summer. We went to a local beach and parking lot, got set up and went at it--50 ft down the first pass he hits a good QGr signal and starts digging--turns out its a pocket spill with 3 Qtrs and a Dime . (cant get much better than that//) 45 min. and we have 13 coins + stuff //He had a great time -and so did I/// Perry

Awesome to hear. I take my 6 year old on hunts and he loves to go. Good for you for taking him and getting him interested in a healthy hobby.
