Detector(s) used
Troy Shadow X5, Minelab Musketeer Advantage
I got a chance to try my X5 this morning after waiting all week long. I went back to the park I've been hammering lately. I used the fixed GB and various levels of disc just trying to get a feel for this detector in a trashy site. I have tp play around getting the hang of tweaking it on manual GB. I did find a 60's pocket spill 5 dimes and a nickel and a fresh drop spill of around a buck. Also one 47 wheatie and a sac dollar. Tomorrow we'll be hitting a plowed field.

Nope, no silver. I thought so at first because they were sandwiched nicely and still shiny. Mid 60's. Maybe next time.

For getting the feel of a new detector that was a very good job. What was the keeper to trash ratio? Thanks.

Not too much trash but had some distinguishing the signals. Mainly old style pulltabs and screw bottle caps.

Actually that was the nickel in the 60's pocket spill sandwiched in with the dimes. ;D 1966 I believe.

I'm not sure but I put it in the keeper bag when I saw the ornate design on it.
