Hi, first hunt with my AT Pro. I found one nail, one piece of steel and these two parts. One looks like a gasket and the other a drain plug. The drain plug is brass and the gasket is copper or brass - as a magnetic won't stick to either. Both parts were in the same hole

My grandpa and dad had a 1924 Farmall "Regular" and '50 Farmall M so the parts could go to one of those. They also had two McCormick Deering milking machines. They also had an old 30's or 40's Dodge 1 ton truck and a 52 IH truck.

Any ideas?

Welcome from Northern Virginia :skullflag:

Keep digging...you might find the whole truck. There might be coins in the ashtray.

I think what you think is a gasket is actually a clock plate. Nice finds.

Agree that's a clock plate from maybe an old mantle clock

More holes, more glory!:occasion14::skullflag:

No idea about the identity of those items, but fun finds none the less. A big welcome from Massachusetts!

Learn that machine and try different types of areas and you’ll do well. Happy hunting out there!

welcome, littleboss...hope your area of North Texas is filled with fun and ground hunting.

Saw your location, and as a former Farmers Branch-er, I can tell you that there are great places to hunt all in the metroplex.

Dig it all, and you will learn that machine quickly.

Cool start, keep diggin’, welcome from central Massachusetts

Welcome from Illinois. I agree with the group that said clock plate on the item you thought was a gasket.
