Finding that Barber was a thrill for sure, and that Indian looks nice!
Thanks kimsdad, yup the barber was sweet especially since you get the ID right away. The IH was a double

since I had no clue until clean up time.

Now if you could just remember what the heck that Injun sounded like or looked like on the detector!

They will pop out of the ground more often. After I found my first (1864), I found two others on the next trip...Congrats on the finds..jgas
Thanks jgas, I was thinking the same thing LOL. There I am going along just putting dirt caked coins into the pouch and seeing the IH at clean up wondering, "I wonder when/ how that got in there

WTG on your first 19th century coin

My first one was also an Indian Head, an 1887. It rang up like a modern Lincoln cent. Dig everything at those old sites, you just never know.
Nice job,
Nat
BTW that Barber is sweet too
Thanks Natman, made the 19th century by a hair LOL. No clue how the IH rang up, I don't remember a target that rang up where I said,"what is that?" so it must ring up same as a wheat or a more modern one. You're right, you have to dig everything.
