First Looomis box ever

Picked up my first loomis box from a CU that i joined about a month ago. I have been hesitant on picking anything up from them because the tellers are very rude and one told me that they don't even order halves anymore. Anyone had this experience? And if so any advice on how to prove that they are lying!!!

Anyways got a box of dimes after having to talk to the branch manager, went home and searched to find 1 lonely 58 rosie. My 51st silver dime of 2011. Almost threw it back as the rim was so dirty, from that roll on I paid very close attention, of course to no avail.

Just an opinion, but if you feel uncomfortable at this bank, then close your account and find one that treats you well. Don't be hesitant to "inform" the rude tellers that you know halves can be ordered. If they elect not to order for you, tell them you would like to close your account because they are unable to comply with your requests.

In the future, before you open an account, speak with a teller. Let them know you plan to open an account if you can order x amount of boxes per week. Let them know up front. Then, there are no surprises on either end.

Try a different branch first, if there is more than the one. Almost all of my banks have branches that won't order and some that will- same goes for my CU. HH Mark
BTW you have to remember that you are late to the party and there have been alot of aholes lately doing it wrong and pi$$ing off alot of banks. All we can do is smile and say "Have a nice day then".

Don't let the teller's attitude dictate how you conduct your business. I'd ask to speak to the manager or ask to be put in touch with the next level supervisor about denial of service. If you can't get it sorted out, I'd pull funds and find a bank that will do business with you. Apush is right, be up-front and then hold them to the agreement you made at the time you open the account.
