Long story short I work at a golf course... there is an old house that the owner uses as an office and recent had plumbing issues which caused us to dig outside and look for the septic to find the issue. Upon digging the first hole about 10 feet from the house I found a marble! Here are the pics! Can anyone identify?? It certainly isn't blown glass as it appears to be more of a natural grain in what looks to be some sort of mineral.

Hello,

Cool find! It's a machine made glass marble made by Vitro. It's called a Conqueror, named during WWII when they were introduced and they made them for a decade or two after that. They made millions, maybe billions of them... very popular.
