First Mercury Dime

Found my first Mercury Dime tonight at a small park on the way home from work. Most of the park had been renovated but there were some old trees along a parking strip so I gave it a try. The coin was about 3" deep in hard packed dirt and I feel lucky I didn't hanzo it with my digger. It's a little rough but it easily makes my top 10!

It took me forever to find my first silver dime, thought it would never happen. When I did it was a 2 merc spill, a 35 and 36 in the same hole.

Great first silver. Mine was a Rosie, but pulled two Merc's later in the year, great looking coin.

Your hooked now. no getting out of it. might as well accept your fate. you'll be licking coins, getting heck from the mrs. for being covered in mud, read minelab ads instead of porn and salivate. You'll probably even join a treasure hunting website with a bunch of crazies that find the coolest things......yep ur done for.
