First Milk Bottle of 2026 and first two Silvers of 2026. 1927 mercury dime and sterling captain bars.

Had a few stops over my long weekend. Though due to the temperature the 1st hunt was a dash to bottle zone , search and get back indoors. 17 degree windchill on a back bay of the Atlantic. Only bottle worth hauling back to car was a smaller Supplee willis jones clean milk. While their main plant was in Philadelphia, they would put their plants along the PRR for easy transport. Hence why this example ended up in the Atlantic Ocean.

The following day the wind died down enough for low tide I could actually stay out a bit. The sterling captains bars were a bucketlister for me. 2 perfume dabbers, 2 marbles, 2 buttons, a bead, worn out president token and a belt buckle came out too. Bit of detecting bit of mudlarking.

Sunday I stopped at a mostly frozen fresh-water beach. And while I was limited to what areas I could access, I snuck out 2 wheatys, a railroad penny and a 1927 merc in the 2 hours I lasted in the wind.

There was a Supplee Wills Jones in Chester , PA. my hometown.

From what I've read main one was philadelphia but they had them near railroad lines in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. They even had special supplee willis jones tank cars for hualing milk on the railroad. But by 1954 Pennsylvania Rail Road stopped allowing the hualing of milk.
