Ground is starting to thaw, must dig! Got my first heel plate and trigger guard. Trying to date this site? Gone on my 1892 plat map and shows on the 1877 map. One suspender clip is dated 1862 did heel plates go back that far? One silverware handle has makers mark, trying to decipher? Guessing older site for Wisconsin? Excited been a long winter, thanks all.
