First pinpointer

Ok since I'm relatively new, I still lack all the proper equipment. I saved up a couple hundred bucks and am looking to splurge a little. What pinpointer is the best in both price and performance? Right now I'm leaning towards Garrett.

Yea, almost 100% of folks asked this question say the Pro Pointer. My buddy just got one and all I can say is WOW! It sure blows my 'starter' pointer out of the water.

Can't go wrong with the Garrett.

I have had them all. The only other pinpointer that I would consider other than the Garrett would be the Sunray inline probe; but it all depends on your detector.
