I had about an hour today, so I decided to check out an old, abandoned car wash.

I thought I had found an older coin, but it was just a chuck e. cheese token.

I did however, find my first quarter.
This is only my 3rd or fourth time out, so I am still learning the md. My real nemesis had been soda cans! They show as dimes.

Hi Joe,

I've only been out about 7-8 times myself so far, but I had a similar experience at the beach last week. I got a good, deep dime signal on my MPx and about 2 1/2 feet down I found an old bottle and three old Coors cans. It was a lot of work for a lot of trash! Also, don't know how you plan on spending your clad once it accumulates, but I'm saving mine for my next detector. I figure it might take about a year, and by then I imagine I'll be ready for a little bit more advanced machine.

HH!

Right there with you. I'm saving it for a new md. It's in a jar right now.
I need to work with my md to notch out cans somehow.

What kind of bottle was it?
