I think we are reading in backwards.
Could it be "BOX30"?
And I can almost see "SIDES"
On the other side. Maybe it is from a restaurant named Cotton Mill.
There was a Cotton Mill in South Boston,VA. Near by.

If it is, Again, unless It was Like a Pickers Token.
Given to a Farmer Or Butcher,

Under the magnifying glass I can see the top end of a "K" two letters after the O, so "BOX&O_K". Still don't make sense to me.
