Wolf, if you can find the hole the ring came out of, it might pay to take a ground cloth and sift through the dirt for the missing stone. BTW, Congrats on your 1st ring. HH

FIRST ring is always cool, I found mine not to long ago, and what a thrill. I agree that if you can find the hole it might be worth trying to find the stone and your that much closer to your next good find

I'm with the other guys on this one......I'd go back to the spot and sift through that dirt,..I'd bet that stone is right there in the same hole. Logic would tell you it is!
