Got out with a good friend today to do some digging. We fought snow and frozen ground but came out with some goodies. Pulled out 5 wheats, a buckle( I am guessing a shoe buckle), a cool key ( one side says GM the other says Briggs Stratton, a flat button, and my first SEATED DIME!!! The seated is a 1873 model. The back of the button says STAND COLOUR TREBLE GILT. I'm hoping someone here has info on the age of the button and the key!! Really cold, really wet & really worth going out!!! Happy hunting!!

Wow, great day. That's where I got the idea for my username, Treble, without looking up, I'd say its Probably late 1700's button to early 1800's. But don't hold me to it, either way it's a great find along with all your other ones.

Congrats on your first seated dime and other cool finds! GM is an auto maker and Briggs and Stratton is a small engine maker, maybe to a yard tractor, snowmobile , or etc. I 'm guessing.

Check the mint mark on the back. If it is a CC (Carson City) you struck gold. They also had double die obverses' that year.

Thanks everyone. I just found some info on the key. Briggs and Stratton provided keys and locks to GM since GM's start. The key style 15 I found is 1935-1966.
