First silver!! And others..

First silver anything today and it happened to be a nice ring! Home was built in 1942 but the area around it is so much older... Alot of horse and buggy activity back in the day.. Also found my first round ball.. Approx 45 cal.. And a neat find was a Wizard Cheating tool used while playing poker or other card games in saloons. It would fit right inside the cuff of a shirt. (Circa 1889)

Thanks for the description of the "card cheating" device........would have never known what it was had it shown up in my plug.........
Can't quite tell from the pic......is the stone in that gorgeous ring a ruby?

Thanks alot Chizzy! The ring has a red jewel in it... It appears to be in very good condition... It is either a ruby ( my guess) or garnet? Not sure unless i take it to a jeweler probably..
Yeah that cuff link object is awesome! I had no clue what it was either.. But as i always say, "anything with writing on it, is a keeper and needs to be investigated!"
