What detector do you use and what was the number on the screen? In the 80's?
 

AT Max...really i dont pay too much attention to number..not saying i dont use it...i pay more attention to the sound then i really do the numbers
 

Nice find. Not seeing the surrounding terrain, do you think that it was lost shortly after 1896? Can't focus on the pic, but what condition grade is it, how deep was it, details please on this history piece. Pic of obverse.

it was a screamer..i only hunted that portion of creek for 20-30 min...water was spring fed where i was at and even though it was 90 outside it was too cold!!!
