Like most I find more silver dImes than quarters so this was a pleasant surprise.

In a neighbor's lawn I have searched a million times.
A one way hit, a few higher numbers in the 30's but still jumping up and down a lot.
Typical masking issues I just have to deal with...that's why I got the Nox.

On this one it was the tone.
Sweet sounding short one that repeated if I came at it from one really specific direction.
Something in that tone just made me dig it and I was rewarded.

I think the Nox and I are starting to gel.

So many good signals are only found while approaching form a single direction... good snag!

My quarter drought is approaching a year. Good job finding that GW, I cant find a silver quarter to save my life.

I'm on a year drought with the quarters as well. Found plenty of quarters with the Nox just haven't found a silver one yet.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Sweet find, Congrats!!!

and a nice one it is, congrats

Haven't found a silver in since December! Can't wait till spring. Congrats on the quarter!! :icon_thumleft:

Nice job on the silver. The Nox is a very nice coin detector.

I find so many silver dimes, silver quarters are hard to come by. For me at least. But I did manage 4 this past weekend. What luck. probably be 6 months till I find another.

Good job those arent easy to find I would think they would be but nope Great job glad you like your new machine

Nice silver. The Nox rocks.

Nice find ! Your picture also makes clear how high relief these coins are ( especially in nice condition) compared to the rubbish we have now.
