First silver spill nothing spectacular. But a first for me. First silver GW quarter 1943, first silver rosies 1946 and 1959 and one crusty nickel.

Any silver is great, a spill is even better, Congrats!

Very nice indeed!

I had a spill of 5 buffalo nickels once 45 years ago when I lived way up in Plattsburgh, NY, so they don’t come along that often! Congrats and go do it again (but don’t take 45 years)!

Love finding a spill but a silver one to boot!! Congratulations :icon_thumleft:

This does not happen often. Congratulations.

That’s a good day!

Congrats on your awesome first spill!

Great find! I've not got any silver spills yet. I did get one with a buff, 2 IHPs, and like some wheaties a month ago though.

That’s a great spill! Congrats

Nice!!!!! I’ve only hit three silver spills, but they’re out there!! Nice job

Is that nickel maybe a war nickel? I've found them completely encapsulated in a crust of their own corrosion before. Usually, they are black, though, and a lot crustier than yours.
Awesome find, regardless. Just don't think I've ever seen a regular nickel presumably from the same era as your other coins trashed that badly.
Thanks for sharing.
