So excited as I was finding coins here and there this 3 ringer showed up. Also found what looks to be old petrified wood about 10" down. Any thoughts?

If that wood is giving a signal you may have a civil war bullet in wood. Those make very nice display pieces and can be valuable if preserved right.

This is a pale wood, new, not old. Have you looked at examples of petrified wood. From my experience, it's not pale like this at all.
