First silver

Well, it just keeps gettin better. Worked the elem school where I go when time is limited. I have dug lots of clad and memorials there before. Got a really good solid bell tone but when I pin pointed the signal was very faint, decided to dig and was surprized with a 1936 merc dime in nice condition. This stuff gets addicting. My ace 250 hit this at 5-6 inches (factory coil) in hard dry Texas clay.

Very nice, Merc's are great. I've found 8 so far this year and they are exciting every time. It would be nice to see a picture of it.

Congrats on the Merc! A Merc was my first silver find, too. They are a very pretty coin. I love to find them. The Ace will find silver for you - it's a great machine.
