Been a bit of a silver drought but got back out to a new area on an old permission and had a good hunt. A 1782 1/2 Real, silver wash dandy button with a sun burst, a small button with rice plants and a few other plain buttons and a musket ball.

Wow! All that from 1 hunt? What a home run!

Interesting coin from Guatemala ('NG' mint mark)

Assayer 'P': Paz Duran, Assayer, Casa de Moneda de Guatemala
(1872-1879)
Don in SoCal
Thanks, I wasnt sure what the mint was, appreciate the info.

Very nice...congrats 🫡👍

That 1/2 real is in better condition than any I have found! The button is neat, too.
That 8 reales is very nice! I am meeting two friends next week in Sebastian, FL and we're going to do a beach search (only) with our metal detectors. Hoping to check out the site of the "Green Cabin Wreck" if we can access Wabasso Beach. If not, we have some "backups" in mind. I will post an update after I return. Keeping fingers crossed . . the wind has been from the NNE!

That's an outstanding Spanish reale. Those are super hard to come by. Congrats on ending your Spanish slump.
