Man that thing looks nice don't it ? I'm super excited .
Congrats on the first Barber Dime.

What's the item beside the dime?

Do you think the top comes out?
Is there anything on the other side or the edge?

I have a couple of ideas but will wait for your answers.
I think it opens somewhere not sure which side

Nice Barber! I still remember my first (and only) Barber dime find. Such a neat coin.

Nice detail on the Barber Dime - a big congrats on your first one ! :icon_thumright:

I still remember the first one I found - New Years Day about 14 -15 years ago.
My Wife said I was totally nuts for even go outside.
It was literally 10 degrees - snowing pretty hard and very windy.

Was hunting in the woods near a 1800's Cellar Hole on our Farm.
Lots of leaves on the ground - so I was still able to dig.
I was frozen solid when I got back in the house but it was worth it.

Good Hunting !

Sometimes the extreme weather you find your best relics

I can't tell if it's a lighter or a match striker like a portable one maybe worn on a string. It has another loop that broke off not shown but I still have it
