Very nice and not often found Spanish too. Most call those a half Pistareen by the way

Great score. That coin is in great condition! Congrats!

Great condition and a excellent save. Congrats!

That's a bad ass find. Those are virtually nonexistent on this side of the Mississippi

That coin is a thing of beauty Riggleman. " First" finds like that one are not soon forgotten. Congratulations!!!

So im confused is this a 1 Reale, of a half pistareen? How rare is it especially for being found in northeast WV. What is it worth?

A full Pistareen is 2 reales so you have a half. Usually found mostly in eastern Virginia and occasionally in New England I believe. Worth more to you than anyone else probably

Excellent find and in very nice shape. Congrats. :icon_thumleft:

Wow that’s a beaut. Some more details on the find?

Beautiful colonial coin! Congrats!!

Congrats on the Spanish silver recovery! :occasion14:

She's gorgeous! NICE work!!! 🙌

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

That's a very nice coin. I tend to call all those early "cross" types pistareens, although there is a complete nomenclature on Spanish silvers.
