First Spring Hunt

My dad and I made it out to our favorite hunting spot last week. For once we were the first to reach the spot after a heavy rain! The weather was great and finding some artifacts was an added bonus to a fun day off of work. I usually just post in the metal detecting section, but I thought I'd share these finds with you. The first find was in the water, and the rest were in the recently washed gravel stirred up by the heavy rains. I also picked up a pocket full of chips and flakes.

It is fun looking at the material and style to figure out where the artifacts are from. I'm in Carroll County, but these were found in Harford.
