Relic Hunting
The weather was absolutely foul to start the Memorial Day Weekend, but it wasn't raining when I was passing a favorite site, so I stopped for a very quick hunt. It was cold and windy, and some critter was
making a lot of noise in the woods opposite the fishing hole part of the creek. There were signals all over the place due to the wetness of the ground, and I got a high 90-92 steady one. At first I thought it was junk, but even then I could see the Eagle and this is what I got!

Glad I stopped. Thanks for looking-happy holiday weekend

Congrats on your first SLQ, and it's in great shape also. :icon_thumleft:

Nice find. Looks to be in good shape. And the dog, he looks like he wants to help.

Nice find. Still looking for one of those. Such a beautiful coin.

Thanks for the remarks- I'm not much of a coin hunter, but I admit that getting the 11"DD coil upgrade has made a difference in my coin finds. 2 weeks ago, I found my first Washington silver quarter- a 1964!

Nice SLQ score!...and it has a date on it too.

Great Job! An SLQ is hard to come by, one with a date is even harder! Way to go! :icon_thumleft:

Great job--that one is in real nice shape too! Congrats!
