Got permission today to hunt my church grounds. Don't know how much they've been gone over before, but not a bad day. Only 3 cents (all memorials), but the oddball stuff is really cool! The "Rosary" item is actually a locket that open up into three seperate "pages". Each lists the different "Mysteries" of the rosary (for those of you familiar), and on which days to pray them. Looks to me to be from the 20's or 30's??? Let me know what you think!

I had hunted the church picnic grounds earlier in the day (still much ground to cover there as well) and only came up with a ton of pull tabs and scrap metal. Should be something there as well!

Special Thanks to midus1 for the use of his spare metal detector!!! I have yet to buy one, but am trying to convince the wife this is a worthwhile hobby! Thanks Don!

HH Everyone!

Great Finds

Way to go beetle662. Cool finds and like you said, probably a lot more waiting for you.

One or two cool finds like that really makes a hunt worthwhile!

That's quite a cool piece of americana! Way to go!

Actually, this is the ONLY dog tax tag that I have ever found! I'm real new to this wonderful hobby, so I don't have much in the way of "artifacts".
