Hey hey diggers!
As a relic hunter these days you have to be flexible with the detecting you get in. Waiting for crops and tracking folks down for permission is always a challenge.
My neighbour dropped over to ask help locating a lost tool in his yard with my detector, I said "Sure let's go!"
Permission given, I found the lost bit in mere seconds and then it was over....or was it?
Second swing over where the lost object was found I had another signal that was right where I was standing so why not get it...gold and diamond earring!
Since my neighbours only moved in just over a year ago, they said it didnt belong to them so it was the bonus with the thank yous I already recieved.
So now I am wondering if there is something to this poking around in people's yards for lost things...I may have to be more flexible in the future!
Until next time...even a ten minute hunt can be productive!
