First time out.......... comming up!!

Got my first detector and all the goodies to go with it ,just after Christmas. Going to be in the upper 30's- 40's daytime, for about a week, here in Michigan. Headed out today to remove a foot of snow off a 20x20 grassy area that contains dirt from an old garage demo and excavation spoils, from a sidewalk, we put in,and used this dirt for backfill/landscaping. I have read so much and watched so many instructional and other videos, I'm so ready to get outside and somthing besides bench testing!! I will let ya know....

First hour ever using my detector..........3 nails, 1Chuckie Cheese token, 1 looks like a penny,very mangled. Garrett Pro-Pointer is awsome, glad I added that to my stuff

Good luck Cooper. I'm in Michigan as well, Tri-Cities area, and preparing for my first ever hunt next weekend. With that much snow, you must be up north. We can see the grass here in Central Michigan and it is supposed to be 50 degrees next Saturday. Can't wait for next weekend to get here. Also looking forward to more daylight. Going to and coming from work in the dark leaves no time to hunt during the week.

Hey Scott, I am at southern end of Lake Huron,shoreline and we got one of those lake effect storms a week ago, I just retired, so I have time, come on Spring
