I got a super early start this morning to beat the heat since I knew that I was going to have wear full cup headphones to drown out the noise from the nearby traffic. I hate wearing full cup headphones when it's hot but I love wearing them when it gets really cold.

Since I didn't know anything about how to best run the Warrior, I had to learn as I was swinging and digging. That sucker is DEEP and is super sensitive. I couldn't run it wide open. Some of the targets were so deep I said to hell with it, because it was too darn hot to be digging that deep.

Anyhow at a well pounded site, I did manage to find 3 wheat pennies, a few pieces of clad, a 2.23g 10k gold cuff link, a gold plated ring with a nice stone, a old car pin, and a 1908 V nickel. I found the V nickel about 10 yards from where I found the seated dime earlier this year. Both were just under the surface near an old oak tree.

Well if you did not know how best to run that machine; I would say that you did one heck of a job and I can not wait to see how you do when you become fluent with that machine.

Congrats,

I would say you did really good for being you first time out with that machine. Gold and a V nickel is always nice.. congrats.

Thanks! It takes awhile to get used to the different audio sounds, so I just started digging most everything.

Thanks! Cuff links were the thing back in the day, especially gold ones with your initials on it.
