First Time Out With The Deus

Well I used the Deus for the first time on Saturday and Sunday and I used a program Saltwater Max gave me.

Anyway here's what I found. Not many coins but a few relics. Charlie

Bloody Light was my first thought, I love the wireless aspect of it and attaching the module to my belt and the headphone wire under my shirt to the module makes it even better.
I can't get over how fast the recovery is on this machine. I was having trouble in the field with it as I hadn't read up on the ground balancing part of it yet but I guess I got enough targets so it wasn't to bad.
I'm still learning the ropes with it and hopefully I can do a lot better with it in the future. I need to try it out on my local beach area and see how it compares to my Excalibur 1000. Charlie

Well from what I'm reading so far, the Excalibur 1000 is the better in the water as you need a antenna for the Deus but I will see what happens.

Remember programs are a great starting point but to get the most out of a machine it will need to be adjusted to each and every situation! Keep at it!

Hi Marchas45I Great finds for one day! The DEUS is the best all around metal detector. It is even suitable for gold prospecting. If you want to hunt deeper do not forget to adjust the ground balance manually a little bit lower then the mineralization tracking or pumping numbers.
