Picked up a "Nox 800 saturday and finally got to take it out for a couple hours this evening. Went to my usual location at the county park swimming area and luckily the water level was down so I could get about 50 feet from the shoreline.
Pulled 5 rings, a pendant and 96 cents in clad along with the usual bottle caps and pull tabs. One ring is 14k and another is .925 silver. got a tungsten band and 2 junk rings. I wish it hadn't gotten dark so soon, I was having a good time.
I've been a Whites user for over 30 years but I think I'll stick with Minelab now that Whites has closed it's doors.
