First trip out to an old mill site

This mill dates as far back as the revolutionary war. Went out this morning. Not sure what the iron stuff is.

the fork went to battle with a brush hog . I hunt mills and have been somewhat successful , the iron parts are rough for an accurate use , most I find are from wagons and machinery used at the loading areas .
Good luck , most mill hunts are a physical challenge and not for the faint of heart , as you might experienced already.
