First Try With New Camera ...

My Canon EOS Rebel has just about give out, so figured I would give this inexpensive Nikon L340 I picked up new for a C-note. 20 MP with a 28X zoom isn't too bad for $100.00 so I bit.



Jut a bit of cropping and "curves" adjustment.



Had to dull down the yellow flower, it's color was overpowering for my tastes. Added a raster layer above, filled with black then erased all but the edges and then adjusted the visibility down to about 70.

Beats only having a phone camera on hand. Does a good job.

Couple of shots of a mocking bird this am. Images were both cropped and reduced to 1200 X 900 resoultion.





Going to take a while to get used to not having a viewfinder.
