First two boxes...w/pics

Pretty satisfied with my first two boxes. The Box of dimes was unmarked, has MMF on the bottom. Kinda strange, most of the rolls were CWR, only 6 MWR. Was a little worried when I saw this, didn't know if it would be good or bad, scored two rosies a '50 and a '62. The nickels were Brinks, and all in clear wrappers, I edge checked and pulled all of the ones that looked like war nicks, no dice. But, after going through them, I found a very normal colored '43 D, well worn, almost no silver toning. A few rolls later, scored my first Buff, no date. Also pulled a handful of pre-'60 nicks. Found a '50 in really nice shape, no D though.

All in all, I'm pretty happy, glad neither of the boxes were skunks.

I'm definitely addicted already, have my CU ordering me a box of each every week from now on, might up the order on dimes, or add a box of halves.

Congrats! Any box that has something in it is a winner in my book, because skunks SUCK. Keep at it!

Sounds like a pretty standard box of nickels. I've been pulling a war and buffalo each box and rough 20-25 pre '60s. It's hard to edge search nickels, I always end up date checking anyways.

Ha ha, I think I will order a box of nicks every time, that way, if my other box/s are skunks, I will still most likely find something fun.

Yeah, I was just cherry pickin to start with. Almost all of the war nicks that I've found have had a very dark patina, and stick out like a sore thumb on an edge search.
