them are some dandy finds!!! congrats!! MR TUFF

That's one heck of a first year. Congrats. Now you have a goal to beat your second year. Go get 'em & GOOD LUCK.

Very nice finds!! I hope my 250 works that well, I have yet to get out and try it. Ground is frozen and covered in snow. I have some ghost towns nearby that might have something waitng for me. Hope 2011 brings you just as many finds and more. good luck and good hunting!

Nice job Lookindown.
Do you have a favorite setting by now or does it change with the location?

I use jewelry mode and if I'm picking up a lot of foil I take out one more notch. I have found gold items as small as 0.7grams in this mode. I use the same mode at old home sites, but if it is too trashy I notch out everything below penny. If the trash is bad you can also lower the sensitivity down to three bars. You will miss some targets but the machine will be more stable. I'm still experimenting and have a lot to learn. I've learned more from the members on this website in one year than I could have on my own in ten. Hope this helps.

For using an ace250 u did awesome!

What a nice bunch of finds!!! WTG!!

great job !! wish i'd had a teacher in 1995,took me 15 years to think i knew mine in and out and it still throws me for a loop !! :headbang:

Makes me feel a lot better about my machine! Cool finds!!!!!!!!!!! I hope to find some civil war relics someday.

congrats on a great year! I loved my ACE also. It is a great machine for the money and I know mine paid off about 10X the price I paid for it!

Thanks for the comments. I've got an AT PRO on the way, I'm heading for the water !

The little 250 paid for it's self several times over!!

It just goes to show you what a machine can do when you take the time to learn it. Most sell theirs toooooo soon. The ACE 250 will buy your next machine!

Great first year finds! You have certainly found a lot of great jewelry with your 250.

You will not be disappointed by the AT Pro, the Pro mode is fantastic! A bit of a learning curve, but it's lots of fun and totally worth it!

Good luck on your next year.

Great year!! Nicely done.

All the best,

Lanny
