Fisher 1225X good ?

I have a Fisher 1225X, get laughed at because it is a low cost one, is it a good one ?

Yes it is a good one. It only doesn't have an adjustable ground balance or some other things that the higher price detectors have. Like with a car, do you need a radio, a certain color, power windows and such? No, but some people seem to "need" these things. If it gives you fun, it is worth it.
