Fisher CZ3D?
Hey all. I have been using an AT PRO for almost a year and it has performed really well. I hated it at first but once I "learned" it, I did reasonably well with it. Having said that, I have been doing some research as it is almost time to hang up the detector for the year.
I was looking for a lower frequency machine, I had 2 of them, the T2 and the Omega 8000 and I let them go out of frustration and dumbness. We have a wonderful area to hunt that has had people on it for a few thousand years and I sold those machines before really learning them and putting them through their paces at this piece of property.
In my research I came across the CZ3D. The advertisement claims it will find the old coins. I really haven't read a bad review on it, yet I am hesitant about a few things.
1. It seems like the "old" fishers are more sought after. Are the components inside the "new" CZ3D the same as what were in the "old" one?
2. They seem hard to find used, is this because they are being used or sitting in closets?
I put this in this forum as it tends to get more traffic than a brand specific forum and guys who may have had one in the past might not visit the brand specific forums.
Thanks for your time.
