Fisher F2 Battery Life???

How many hours can you expect out of the batteries in a F2? Thanks in advance.

No where in the information First Texas supplies for the Fisher line does it give batttery usage length. In fact you would think they would keep the website up to date. Normally you can expect anywhere from 30 to 40 hours use. You can always increase battery length by using good headphones.

In my experience it's a battery hog (15-20 hours on fresh "copper-tops"
using headphones.)

My old Tesoro Cutlass2 ran twice as long but it only got half the depth.

If all else fails...rumor control says: headphones extend battey life.

the more you beep.and pin point and read dept
I think pin pointing is the hardest on the battery
novelty item wance you figer that out

it's good to learn were the beep is coming from with your eye's looking down
double beep you swung both ways
know turn an swing again another double beep right there is the target
the turning is the key
that's when you lined up the two single

after awhile it will become second nature
then you reach just touching it as if your finger is the pin pointer

With headphones used 100% of the time, my F2 went 20 hours before dropping 1 bar, I'm sure it would have been fine another 5-6 hours. I changed them anyway, and I was still able to use the old ones in the Vaquero and get the full start up beeps. Definitely use headphones if you arent already.
