I got an early start this morning to beat the heat. I headed to the large corner lot that I got permission to detect a few days ago. The home was built in the mid-forties. I was expecting more than what I found, but I still did alright. I managed to find a 1952 Rosie, a 1959 Washington quarter, a single wheat penny and some clad coins. That's an excellent wheat penny to silver coin ratio. At 9:15 I was heading for home. It's going to be a long hot Summer!
My F75DST detector settings: 9.0, Sensitivity - mostly around 80, DE Mode, 4H Tones, Disc Level 0, GB mostly around 70.
This was my 72nd hunt for the year and my silver coin total for the year now stands at 202. I reached my goal for a half of year. Still time left to find more.
