Fisher tw-5 pipe and cable locator for meteorites?

Hi I just joined the forum although I've been a lurker for quite awhile. I've found mtteorites with my DEUS detector but I've just got a lead on a used fisher tw-5 pipe locator, has anyone got any experience with these machines! I've been to a site that I think has some very deeply buried meteorites and I'm hoping to try this (if its a viable idea). Any help would be VERY appreciated.
