I was told this was a split line sinker but I've never seen one this skinny nor with a base on it. Two I found right beside it did not have bases on them but we're not your typical style of split one sinker I'm accustomed to.

I've seen similar but the "base" is odd. If it is a sinker, perhaps it got pinched off in the mold?

that looks likes a plain split sinker, w/something attached its to it.

Could be a form of stand up jig weight, that might explain the base....
