I would say it's a Whiffletree tip.
Although not a exact match to yours they did come in many designs.

When I got up this morning, I had a lot of things on my list to do today.
The very last thing I thought I would be doing, was googling "Whiffletree"!

Looks like a great possibility.

You know, all the search engines on the internet use you searches to help them "shape" the content of you future searches or spam you with advertisements related to your recent searches.

I wonder what 'whiffletree' will do to change your content?

I do some pretty whacky searches while doing research for this forum. It's interesting to see some of the Amazon ads I get after searching for something like 'saint dragon slayer 15th century British scrimshaw '.
