These hold handles on furniture. Such as a drawer pull for a dresser or such.

Certain sling mounts are similar but these posted seem squared and have no threads for half the shank. The blank says it is for using through wood to attach a nut only so far down to avoid damaging the "drawer" or whatever. I am going with furniture hardware as well. Cool finds.
