Flintlock hammer and trigger parts, or wishful thinking? Texas Cabin New Years

Found these two items in the same hole...the "trigger" looking piece was about 4" down in the hole, and the other "hammer" looking piece was around 6" deep. There are a couple of holes in the trigger piece and what appears to be a spring, or some wire wrapped around a small post with the other end in the small hole adjacent to that...the "hammer" piece is fairly heavy and has a hole just above the rounded end...it is pretty well rusted...This is the same cabin site where I had found the barrel to an 1851 Colt revolver a few months back....any gun experts out there?

That;s what I was thinking about the trigger. Even tho it isn't right, it seems to be too big and heavy for a cap gun tho. My best guess would be parts from two seperate guns. But I think they both are probably CW era. I would search and double search that site and the surrounding area on all metal setting and see if anyghing else turns up. Regardless, it is a super find! Monty
